Chief Executive Officer
Uganda Performing Right Society (UPRS) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead operations, provide strategic direction, and ensure the organization achieves its mission and goals.
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: Board of Directors
Key Responsibilities
- • Lead strategy and operations
- • Manage resources and drive revenue growth
- • Build stakeholder relationships
- • Oversee reporting and organizational performance
- • Ensure alignment with UPRS mission
Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s is an added advantage)
- • 5+ years in senior management
- • Strong leadership and communication skills
- • Business and industry knowledge
- • High integrity

Call for Proposals – Digital Consultancy SPV
UPRS is inviting proposals to establish a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for digital consultancy services to improve copyright management systems and digital infrastructure.
- • Digital Rights Management systems
- • Member management platforms
- • Revenue collection and reporting tools
- • Data security and compliance

Licensing Agents
UPRS is hiring Licensing Agents to support licensing activities and grow the licensing business in line with copyright law.
Key Duties
- • Sensitize music users on copyright
- • Manage licensing processes and documentation
- • Track transactions and prepare reports
- • Engage with licensees and stakeholders
Requirements
- • Qualification in Sales or Marketing
- • At least 1 year experience
- • Strong communication and organizational skills
- • Knowledge of copyright law is an advantage
