EMPOWERING GOSPEL ARTISTS ON RIGHTS MANAGEMENT The Uganda Performing Rights Society (UPRS), in collaboration with the Federation of Gospel Artists Uganda, successfully conducted a cooperative corporate awareness training aimed at equipping musicians with essential knowledge on managing their rights. Date: Saturday, 28 February 2026 Venue: Rado Hotel, Masindi District The workshop focused on educating music creators on the proper management of rights in musical works and sound recordings. Participants gained practical insights into protecting their intellectual property and maximizing the value of their creative output. 🎤 The session featured Prince Nick, Board Member Director at UPRS, among the facilitators who guided artists through key aspects of rights management. UPRS remains committed to strengthening capacity among music creators and promoting effective copyright awareness across Uganda’s music industry.
